EDA runs monthly online support groups aimed at supporting anyone who is affected by binge eating disorder. The groups take place on the last Thursday of every month at 7pm and finish at 8pm.
Our groups are facilitated by people who have lived personal experience of an eating disorder in their lives, they are experts by experience. The group’s ethos is that of hope and recovery and it is our hope that it provides people with a safe space in which they feel comfortable to open up and share their experiences and ultimately find the support that they need and deserve to enable them to challenge and fight against the illness.
Groups are open to anyone affected by binge eating disorder and are free and confidential to attend. To attend the group simply create your free account on our online group platform: https://groups.eatingdisordersni.co.uk
Once you have created an account you can then register for your chosen group. Please note groups will open for registration approximately 2 weeks before the date it is due to run.
If you would like more information about the groups please feel free to call into our centre or contact our helpline at any time. Helpline No. 02890235959.
Please note: At present, our online support group service is specifically for those affected by binge eating disorder. It is our intention however to broaden the online group support service in the future.
